Frog & Feijoa

I'd never eaten a feijoa before, I don't think, but there's a huge hedge of them here and fruit scattered all over the ground. They're sweet, with a strange perfume or cosmetic smell, and incredibly delicious. I hear they're very popular in New Zealand so I'm taking a bag back home for a particular New Zealander I know.

Heading home now on the overnight train. I predict that the monstrously large scarf I am crocheting will grow to even more mammoth proportion as I travel.
